Description
The Institute for Environmental Policy is a sustainability think tank. Working with stakeholders across EU institutions, international bodies, academia, civil society and industry, our team produces evidence-based research and policy insight.
Role :
In EUROSION, IEEP is leading the policy work. IEEP will review existing policy measures supporting the reduction of soil erosion and use the learnings from the project to design actions for policymakers that facilitate effective uptake and monitoring beneficial practices. To carry out this work, IEEP will cooperate with the consortium partners and policy actors at EU and Member State level.
IEEP is leader of WP5 - Exploring land management and policy dimensions for reducing soil erosion and tasks T5.3 - Review and analysis of the policy framework and the effectiveness of policy interventions and T5.4 - Recommendations for policy design and performance monitoring.
