Description

The School of Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences (HAFL) is one of eight schools at Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH). BFH-HAFL constantly adapts its teaching, research, consulting, and continuing education programmes to meet the evolving economic and societal demands of agricultural, forest and food sciences. HAFL has a distinct line organisation structure, comprising five divisions: Agriculture, Food Science & Management, Forest Science, Transdisciplinary Subjects, and MSc Programmes. The office of Teaching and the office of Research, Consulting and Continuing Education coordinate activities across all divisions.
Role :
As part of the EUROSION project, the BFH is leading WP3 - Developing a EU monitoring scheme to harmonize soil erosion monitoring and is responsible for Harmonizing and testing monitoring methods to provide reliable, and interoperable data on multi-process soil erosion, while validating indicators of soil erosion by water and wind erosion to better support policymakers.
